Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are the most efficient method of quickly cleaning up mess. The best robot vacuums and mops I've tested are top-quality in navigation and mapping and are able to pick up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning chores with an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It has the latest features. This top-of-the-line model is swift and agile and can pick up dirt such as hair from pets and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish interface that includes a mini map of your home and a few buttons on the screen to allow manual control.

Another noteworthy feature of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode based on the amount of dirt it encounters thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.

It comes with a range of other smart features too, including an alternative dock that connects to your home plumbing to clean and wash the mop roller, without having you to refill it manually. With  Recommended Resource site  built-in voice assistant on the S8, you can use voice commands to specify room cleaning modes and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that can mop, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more versatile options. It's among the many combinator robot vacuums that include mops that are also offered at a lower price than competitors.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to get started, including setting up an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot is able to begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.

It's important to note that the mapping process takes a while, and it may take a few tries before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate image of your space. The object detection is also an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but got stuck on a rug with tassels that it had to flip over to free itself. But these are minor issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those looking for an all-in-one cleaner.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubs. This results in floors being cleaned and not just being swept. The detachable vacuum stick is a game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums cannot.

This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home better and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The app's smart feature allows you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system clean, and prevents allergens recirculating. Its battery lifespan is long enough to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that offers impressive features at affordable prices. It has an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets, and a fantastic obstacle-avoiding. It also boasts a unique mopping system, that uses a roller that is continuously doused with water to pull dirt and then deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It avoided stairs and navigated close to walls without falling. It was unable to handle fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also relatively high, so it may be less of a set-and-forget model than others.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with docking systems that allow it to replenish its clean water, empty the dustbin and dry and wash the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all the functions. It gives you an easy overview and a variety of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers available, and offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision, and the application lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mop pads that spin at 180 RPM and exert up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates smart carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they're near soft surfaces to prevent contamination.

The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance centre which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station features an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, which allows for seven weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars more than the S8 and this robot is a slick job at keeping my home office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D-map of your home so it can know what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop!).

Other fantastic features include a self emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing, adjustable to water temperature, and a side-reaching mops that can reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also set up cleaning schedules in the app and customize settings for every room in your home.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rug. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty. If you have a wide range of flooring options in your home and don't want to spend more money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping features it is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option when you're looking for a versatile robot that can do both regular maintenance as well as touch-ups to wet messes. It has a wide range of features like the ability to empty the dustbin on its own as well as the water refill dock, and adjustable settings within the app. It's quite quiet, and it can navigate around furniture legs and socks with ease. It's not able to take care of tangled rug tassels and it's battery drains slightly faster than other models in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't do as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however, it did very well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the more powerful  Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used in small areas. It's quiet and quick and does a good job of getting around tight spots. It also does a nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its rivals however it doesn't compromise features. It has good suction power and can be programmed to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.

It's great at vacuuming, but not so great in mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
